Progress report #1: Art direction and platforming fundamentals
Art direction
Hello! This is the first post to the progress report for this game. I don't know what to do so here's the stuff I made below, showcasing the art's direction for the game. The art direction is mainly inspired by Rain World's art direction, with some bits of techniques I apply when observing Hollow Knight. The video below comes from a test project to understand how things work in Godot and to see what's possible and what isn't. I hope you like it!
Platforming Fundamentals: Done!
There are two stuff mainly here that I update, which is the movement and the platforming essentials. It's summed up below:
it's not textured yet since It's on another project, but once the game's fundamentals are done, I'll share more!
